Join us here at Stanley’s on Thursday, December 5, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., for "An Evening in the Greenhouse", benefitting the SoKno ArtWalk. Along with our co-hosts the South Knoxville Neighborhood and Business Coalition (SKNBC), we are pleased to invite you to this relaxing evening of hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine, conversation, and natural beauty—in the middle of our sea of holiday poinsettias!
And take some holiday color (or anything else in the greenhouse) home from the event since 10 percent of all purchases made at Stanley’s that evening will be given to support the SoKno ArtWalk.
Since our Davenport-Stanley forebears have lived in South Knoxville (affectionately called SoKno) for 200 years, we are delighted to support the SoKno ArtWalk that, when completed, will combine landscape architecture, ecology, and the works of Knoxville’s artistic community to establish an art and nature trail alongside the active Knoxville & Holston River Railroad rail line. This ambitious project will provide both a commuter and recreational route as well as another connection in Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness to the Old Sevier Neighborhood, the Island Home Park neighborhood, the South Woodlawn neighborhood, the Chapman Highway Business District, and Downtown Knoxville. Way to go, SoKno!
Tickets are available now for $50 per person on the Legacy Parks website at the following link:
