National Pollinator Week Sale

  • Stanley's Greenhouse 3029 Davenport Rd Knoxville, TN, 37920 United States (map)

Come join us next week, from Monday, June 21, through Saturday, June 26, as we celebrate National Pollinator Week by offering:

~ Thirty percent (30%) off the regular price of all perennials and

~ Two lemongrass plants for the price of one. Yes, buy one lemongrass plant and get one free. Lemongrass is a fast-growing ornamental grass that is as beautiful waving in the summer breeze as it is delicious in soups, stir-fries, and teas. Lemongrass foliage adds gorgeous color in fall gardens when it turns burgundy and red. Lemongrass prefers full sun locations and thrives in hot, humid environments such as our summers in East Tennessee. [Although lemongrass is not a pollinator-supporting plant, its essential oil is used in beekeeping to encourage a bee colony to occupy a new beehive. Lemongrass oil mimics the pheromone emitted by the queen bee in a honeybee colony.]

Pollinator Week is an annual event celebrated in the U.S. and around the world to support the health and habitat of pollinators such as bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, moths, bats, beetles, and wasps.

We are open the following hours for our Pollinator Week sale, June 21-26:

Monday through Friday - 8 to 5
Saturday - 9 to 5
[We are closed Sundays until October.]
