Prolific local iris and pineapple lily hybridizer Bob Lauf will offer his specialty iris rhizomes for a one-day sale at Stanley’s Greenhouse on Saturday, September 11. That sale will start at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until 1:00 p.m., or until all irises have been sold.

Bob is a scientist, gardener, and member of the East Tennessee Iris Society (ETIS) and has been growing irises for over 40 years with a particular emphasis on reblooming varieties.

Mid-to-late summer (July, August, and September) is the best time to plant irises so take advantage of this great opportunity to expand or start your own iris collection.
